Theory derives from the study carried out by La Sportiva’s R&D department on gorilla prehensile skills and the sensitivity of feline fingertips, combining the evolutionary analysis of the new climbing routes in indoor gyms characterised by very large volumes and extremely dynamic movements. The pair is designed to be able to release strength and agility whilst staying sensitive. It uses the exclusive D-Tech™ (Dynamic Technology): the sole wraps the shoe sideways for a total absence of side edges, giving it an advantage in the modern gyms. The Vibram® XS-Grip2 sole has differentiated thickness at the toe while the lower volume heel allows for maximum precision in heel hooks. 90% of the front surface is covered in a rubber toe cap while the general structure of the shoe favours volume compression in modern gyms.
